1. Preventive HIV Vaccines are those vaccines which can be used by HIV negative personnels to prevent them from getting infected with HIV.However one should note that presently no vaccine is available which can be used by non HIV personnels as trials are under way.
2. Therapeutic vaccines are those vaccines which are those vaccines which are administered to personnels who are suffering from HIV and can help in lessening of the effect.
